Burnley Youth Theatre is excited to announce we are recruiting a Trainee Theatre Practitioner to start the week beginning 27th September until the 12th December 2021.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career Theatre Practitioner who has some experience in planning and leading workshops (this experience can be voluntary or educationally based). The applicant must have a passion and enthusiasm for theatre, the arts and working with young people.
The role is a paid placement (National Minimum Wage) and is for 10 hours a week for 10 weeks based at our theatre building in Burnley. The placement will run during our Autumn Season and will include gaining experience in:
Applicants must be 18 – 25 years old. A timetable will be created for the trainee practitioner to ensure that they gain experience in a range of workshops. Our core workshops run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with our Christmas Production running on Wednesdays (with some weekend rehearsals).
