2008
The Christmas production of Beauty and the Beast was performed at Burnley Mechanics in 2008. With a cast of 55 young people performing for school children and the general public. The play was adapted and directed by Andrew Raffle and stayed faithful to the original story, asking the question…’But who could ever love a beast?’
2019
This production was directed by Ollie Daley and involved a cast of 36 children and young people. It was the last production to be hosted at Burnley Youth Theatre before the Covid 19 Pandemic. Fern Fleming played Belle and Layton Morris played The Beast.
