Jobs and Opportunities

Jobs and Opportunities

Burnley Youth Theatre has a small team of permanent, casual and freelance staff who all work together to deliver a fantastic programme of work for local children, young people and families.

We want to get as many people involved in our work as possible and here you will find the latest job vacancies, freelance opportunities, training opportunities and volunteering opportunities.

As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) and disabled people are currently under-represented within our organisation, we would particularly welcome applications from BAME and disabled applicants. All appointments will be made on merit.

Programme Engagement Manager

We are looking for a Programme Engagement Manager to bring our Reflections and Revelations: Our People – Our Place – Our Future 50th Anniversary Programme to life through a number of projects and events, including an oral history project, a curated ‘living museum’, and a heritage theatre performance.

Freelance Opportunities

We currently have a pool of freelance artists who work with us to deliver creative projects with our Youth Theatre, in schools and in outreach settings. If you are interested in being a part of our freelance pool, please send your CV and expression of interest to:
