‘PROMISE’
Directed and written by Kailey McGowan

Zara appears to be like any other 13 year old girl. She’s studying for her exams and planning sleepovers, but when her friend Leah starts becoming distant she finds herself confiding in her new friend Ash. Promise delves into one girl’s journey of grooming so we can begin to understand the patterns and warning signs of child sexual exploitation.
