Whether you are interested in scenery, lighting, props, costume or sound there is something for everyone in our Backstage Pass workshops!

Over 7 weekly workshops young people will gain practical experience and training from industry experts to help them develop their skills and confidence across all areas of Technical theatre. Focuses will include stage makeup, costume, stage management and more – all inspired by our winter production “A Christmas Carol.”

All participants will have the option to join our Backstage Pass Team for our in-house Winter Production – A Christmas Carol. This will be a work experience placement allowing young people to continue their learnings and have the unique opportunity to work alongside our Creative Team.

Workshop 1 – Wednesday 7th October 6-9pm

Workshop 2 – Wednesday 14th October 6-9pm

Workshop 3 – Wednesday 21st October 6-9pm

Workshop 4 – Wednesday 4th November 6-9pm

Workshop 5 – Wednesday 11th November 6-9pm

Workshop 6 – Wednesday 18th November 6-9pm

Workshop 7 – Wednesday 25th November 6-9pm

Optional Work Experience Placement Dates:

We will discuss this opportunity more during the first workshop and send a letter home to parent / carers
