Burnley Youth Theatre is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2023.

Burnley Youth Theatre has been awarded funding from Arts Council England for the next 3 years and will continue to be part of their National Portfolio for regularly funded arts organisations in England.

This year's First Byte company are responsible for fundraising £8,000 to cover the cost of their Edinburgh Fringe Festival experience, In May they performed a fundraiser performance of 'DNA' by Denis Kelly to raise funds.

This summer at BYT, we proudly showcased two fantastic performances from our young people,The Tempest and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice!

To celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Burnley Youth Theatre collaborated with New Neighbours to deliver a six week culture and arts programme

Earlier this year our Education Team delivered a heritage project to over 200 pupils at Cliviger Primary School.
