There will also be an optional paid for Relaxed Performance of our new children’s show “Jack and the Beanstalk” at 10:30am

Who is this morning for?

The day is open for everyone but mainly aimed to cater for people with an autistic spectrum condition, sensory or communication needs, identifies with a disability or feels overwhelmed by a traditional theatre setting.

What will you have on the day to support me and my family?

The morning is delivered by a dedicated team of friendly facilitators and staff including Charly who delivers our weekly Connect Workshops here at BYT and Emily who delivers workshops out in SEND schools across Burnley. A visual story will be sent before your visit which will give you an idea of what to expect. Additionally, we offer a sensory room and a designated time-out space for families seeking a moment of respite or tranquillity.

About Jack and the Beanstalk

Meet Jack – a small boy with big ideas! He doesn’t have money, fame or power but he does have his dreams! From his high rise window, with his head firmly in the polluted clouds, he dreams of saving the environment and changing the world! But his Mum says he will never defeat the city giants who run the big business, tech and housing corporations so why bother with the fight?

Join us this March for a fun filled adventure which will delight young audiences, spark their imaginations and bring joy as good triumphs over evil. With themes of friendship, resilience and environmental change, this modern retelling of the classic tale will teach children to dream big, use their voices and see how they can make a positive difference to the world around them.
