Audition to be part of BYT’s Youth Theatre Company, FirstByte!

FirstByte is Burnley Youth Theatre’s unique training opportunity that brings a small group of young performers together to form a professional theatre company. Over the year, the group will work alongside a director and creative team, to learn acting and devising techniques, gain knowledge in areas such as script writing and sound and find out how to market and fundraise for their own show.   Before heading up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2025 to perform their own original piece of theatre.

Workshops will take place every Tuesday from 6pm-8pm for the Autumn Season, and every Thursday from 6pm-8pm for the Spring and Summer Season.

FirstByte is a great experience for any young person passionate about theatre and performance! Everyone is welcome to auditions. You don’t have to attend BYT to come along!
